The Post Lounge is a Queensland owned and based full service post production facility with offices located in the Creative Industries Precinct Brisbane and at the Warner Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast. The Post Lounge is recognised internationally and domestically for its exceptional post production capabilities and, in particular, the ability to maintain high creative standards.
The company also boasts excellent technical standards aiming to serve our customers at a level that is designed to exceed expectations.
Both facilities comprise a broad range of digital suites, boasting the latest in state-of-the-art technology. All suites offer a relaxing and creative environment, accompanied by the most dedicated and talented team of editors, designers, colourists and producers.
The Post Lounge puts a high priority on a personal level of service that cannot be matched by our larger competitors. In particular we ensure that all clients are provided with a direct point of contact, at a senior level with the ability to make decisions and ensure all projects are undertaken within a timely manner.
We have been providing editing and post production services for the film and television industry since 1979 and throughout our thirty-year history we have seen many changes within the industry. More recently the significant uptake of new digital media technology has seen The Post Lounge embrace the concept of a tape- less environment. We work extensively with innovative media storage solutions and these have been eagerly embraced by many of our clients.
The Post Lounge is extremely adept when it comes to our capacity to manage multiple projects. Our facilities have been implemented with versatility in the forefront of our thinking.
As an example of this we have been deliberate in setting up multiple options in all areas of editing and post production to ensure that any project can be assigned to a variety of resources. In the same way we have focused on employing multi-skilled personnel each of whom are capable of undertaking the work required.
Our company boasts 26 full time employees each of whom bring a diverse range of skills and all of whom share our vision for the provision of a professional level of service at all times.
Our team of industry professionals is led by Managing Director and Senior Editor, Steve Cooper. Steve is very much a believer of the ‘lead by example’ approach to running The Post Lounge. He commenced his career as a film editor over 35 years ago and manages the business with a ‘hands-on’ approach. Still in high demand as an editor and well respected as an accomplished Visual Effects Supervisor, Steve’s many years of experience in post production are a supreme resource for The Post Lounge. Working at the coal face of the business is a priority for Steve, believing that it is imperative to remain pro-active in the business on a day-to-day basis and ensure that both the services and the resources of our company are at the forefront of our business model.
