All Eyes On BIFF

On Thursday 3rd November, The Post Lounge attended the opening gala for the Brisbane International Film Festival – Queensland’s premier 11 day film event, which we are once again proud to sponsor in 2011.
The festival is now in it’s twentieth year and showcases the latest and best in cinema from across the world at 3 venues – The Palace Barracks & Palace Centro Cinemas and the Tribal Theatre. This year’s program includes several local films The Post Lounge has collaborated on, including documentary, Fantome Island and short films, Mug’s Game and Bad Moon Rising.
BIFF culminates on Sunday 13th November at the State Library of Queensland with the Queensland New Filmmakers Awards. We are pleased to support this gala event, which is the biggest industry sponsored new filmmaker competition in the country.
