Senior Creative Team Expands with Head of 3D Appointment

The Post Lounge are thrilled to further expand their senior creative team with the appointment of the international, inspired and talented force that is Manolo Mantero as the Head of 3D.

Mantero began his eclectic career in Spain after graduating from the University of Seville with BA Hons in Sculpture, before moving to the United Kingdom in 1996.  There he continued his studies at Wolverhampton University, completing a BA with Honors in Computer Animation and working as an animator after finishing his work placement at Lucas Aerospace.

While in the UK he worked for the BBC, as a 3D artist for award winning game developers Codemasters, and at Post Production companies in both Birmingham and London.

Following these successes, he returned to Spain where he went on to be the CGI Director for 3D film Hace Mucho Mucho Tiempo for Antena 3 TV, and directed CGI for multiple documentaries.

Manolo’s work is visually addictive and his aptitude is clear in the work he has done for some of the worlds biggest brands including Universal McCann for the SyFy channel, Shiseido Spain and Proctor and Gamble; as well as crafting stunning spots for National Geographic and looking after Digital Product Placement for National TV Tele5.

Most recently Mantero has completed contracts throughout Europe as a 3D Director & Visual Effects Shooting Supervisor for commercials and documentary films.  His undeniable passion, high level of technical knowledge and over 20 years of extensive experience with 3D effects allows him to give valuable insight and creative direction to your visual effects.
