Rushes
Conveniently situated on location at the Warner Roadshow studios, The Post Lounge telecine suite is equipped with the latest Aaton Keylink system. This offers keycode and timecode reading, as well as logging of both Aaton and Arri code. In conjunction with the Aaton InDaw workstation, which can sound sync your dailies on the fly, these systems speed up the transfer process allowing the editing department the fastest possible access to rushes. In layman’s terms: we’ve got cool expensive gear and we’re totally awesome at transferring rushes.
Grading
Based at our Gold Coast Facility, the Spirit Datacine film scanner is capable of standard definition and high definition film transfers at 4:2:2 and 4:4:4. Together with a fully optioned da Vinci 2K Plus for primary and secondary colour grading, the Spirit is equipped to handle all film formats including super 16mm, super 35mm and 3 perf 35mm. Our talented colourists will give your work the unique look it needs to take your project to the next level.
Screening
Our state of the art 30 seat theatrette is the ideal place to screen anything from rushes, movie previews, completed films, camera tests and other corporate presentations. Equipped with two 35mm film projectors as well as an HD Projector for screenings from tape, laptop or DVD formats, your project is guaranteed to look amazing on our 23ft screen. Just like being at the movies! ….only without the stale smell of popcorn, the endless previews and the outrageously overpriced candy bar. For a small additional fee (a bag of Malteasers) our staff are also happy to shoosh anyone who talks during the screening.
